I’m Dan Millice.

I’m a Mastering Engineer originally from North Carolina and now based in New York City.

Over the past sixteen years, I’ve been trusted to master a wide range of music — from Dolly Parton to A$AP Rocky — Julian Lage and Lakecia Benjamin to Sesame Street.

My clients include Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group and Sony Music, as well as independent artists and labels. I've mastered one Grammy Award-Winning album, with 17 Grammy-nominated projects, one Latin Grammy-nominated album, as well as an Emmy Award-Winning song.

Through pursuance of my lifelong passion for music and engineering, I am grateful to have turned what was a small dream in North Carolina into a fortunate career in NYC.

Serve The Song

My approach to mastering is to “Serve the Song”. Every song deserves its own unique approach.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution to mastering, and that’s why I begin every song from scratch; no templates, no presets, just a square-one foundation on which to build your master.
