I’m Dan Millice.

I’m a Mastering Engineer based in New York City.

Over the past sixteen years, I’ve been trusted to master a wide range of music — from Dolly Parton to A$AP Rocky — Julian Lage to Devon Again — Terri Lyne Carrington and Lakecia Benjamin to the new season Sesame Street on Netflix.

My clients include Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group and Sony Music, as well as independent artists and labels. I've mastered one Grammy Award-Winning album, with 17 Grammy-nominated projects, one Latin Grammy-nominated album, as well as an Emmy Award-Winning song.

My approach to mastering is to “Serve the Song”. Every song deserves its own unique approach.

There is no one-size-fits-all solution to mastering, and that’s why I begin every song from scratch; no templates, no presets, just a square-one foundation on which to build your master.

As complex as necessary, as simple as possible.
